History

The Renault Car Club of Australia is one of the longest running car clubs in Australia and is said to be the first Renault enthusiast club in the world!

The club was established by a small group of Renault owners in 1951 who took their little Renault 750s (4VCs) on social outings all over NSW. Over 50 years later, the club continues to cater for people interested in Renault’s, both old and new.
The club based in Sydney Australia and has over 100 members with Renault cars dating back to the 40′ & 50’s.

Social

Renault Car Club activities include a range of social club events such as weekend picnic drives, observation and navigation trials, Bastille Day (All French Car Day), participating in the NRMA Motorfest, Shannon Eastern Creek Classic and other Concourse D’elegance.
Other activites include film nights, bowling challenges, go-karting and visits to other places of interest.

Restoration

Fixing up your old Renualt? Someone has probably done it before!
The Club can probably help you with parts location, literature (through our extenisve library), friendly advise and can direct you to experts if the going gets tough.

Sporting

Club members compete successfully in various forms of motorsport, ranign from the classic Targa Tasmania and similar rallies, to Motorkhana and Khanacross events.

These events offer novice and experianced drivers alike, an opportunity to develop their car control skills, and to test their vehicles capabilites in a safe, controlled and friendly environment.

The Hub

Our magazine The Hub us published 6 times a year and will keep you in touch with all the latest news, views and notice of upcoming events.
